Dairugger XV, Volume III of the DVD is due on Septermber 28, 2010

I've really been enjoying the series thus far - cannot wait for this to come out :)

The LV side of Voltron Central updated tonight. Lots of ep guide work, mainly.

FYI, the VV side of Voltron Central has updated tonight.

Bellevue, Washington, January 28, 2010 - Privateer Press has just announced that the highly anticipated Voltron: Defenders of the Universe battle miniatures game (PIP 50030) for Monsterpocalypse will be released July 2010 with an MSRP of $49.99 USD.

The Voltron game will include everything two players need to stage epic battles between the forces of Voltron and the Galaxy Alliance and Lo-Tron of the fiendish Drule Empire. To be honest (and probably a bitch), I wrote this fic because of the recent shipping war between the K/A and the L/A factions of this fandom. I guess you can call it my response to all the silliness going around.

I like Lotor as a bad guy. He tries, but he's just evil and his version of love is a very twisted one, I think. He's obsessed with possession. To be honest (and all my L/A friends will hate me for this I'm sure) I don't think he loves Allura at all. He's obsessed with her. He lusts her. Chases after her blindly. I like Lotor like this.

And while Keith is one of the heroes of the series, he is not invincible by any stretch of the imagination. He doesn't always win. He makes mistakes, but he has hope. As much as Keith grates on my nerves, I really do appreciate how much he believes in all of his friends, despite their flaws.

In this fic, no one wins. It's quite ugly, cruel, sadistic but still a little hopeful. I like it. I hope some of you do too.

It'd be nice if we could all just get along, but I guess there isn't a fandom without its cliques. Heh. Maybe that's easy for me to say; I'm not biased. I'm a Zarkon fangirl all the way, and if I had to pick a member of the Voltron force for Allura to end up with, I'd go with Lance.

NSFW in its violence and implied situations. Sadly (for me) it has no Zarkon.

Enjoy and flame me if you must.

Sad news for the Voltron movie.  Looks like they might try Robotech instead.  :/

Chapter Four - The Target Of AngerCollapse )

Please note that after this chapter, the rest of the story is rated R. I've come to the gritty stuff and decided that it would be more appropriate that way.

Chapter Three - Baptism of InsanityCollapse )
Thanks for the positive response. Chapter three will be up shortly. :)

Chapter Two - ForsakenCollapse )

Disclaimers: I don't own Voltron. If I did, there'd be an awesome movie with something people tend to forget in movie adaptations of anime: a plot.

I very carefully head back into this fandom after discovering an absolute crime: this couple gets no love. I can see the movement in the K/A area (heck, I'm a K/A shipper, too) but noticed that very little fic is written about Sven and Romelle, despite the fact that their relationship is one of the most tragic and triumphant in the fandom. That said, I'm giving myself the mission to tell their story. And I don't intend for it to be pretty. It will feature emotional trauma, rape, angst, and lots and lots of gritty chapters. We all know that a happy ending came, but it was getting there that was tough. People that go through what Romelle did take a long time to recover. I hope to interpret that well, yet with respect for those who have had the same (or similar) situation befall them.

Rating: A very strong PG-13.

Dedication: To those who have been in Romelle's shoes. There is never any shame in getting help. There is always a hero and inspiration to others on the other side.

Wounded Souls - Chapter One - Dead InsideCollapse )

Finally updated the LV side of Voltron Central with new fic, new files to download, lots of screen captures for both LV and GoLion, and new GoLion reviews among other bits. Check it out!

I haven't written anything in a long while, but I've gotten some encouragement from friends and worked on a piece. I liked thinking about what Drules would eat and how they would eat. They seem to enjoy indulgence.

So now I bring you this Zarkon-centric fic because that's how I roll. It's a little bloody, but otherwise it should be safe for work. A lot of elements are pulled from the Devil's Due take on the Voltron story along with one detail that was pulled from cleoius's Porcelain Dreams.

Posted updates to the VV side of the site last night, including the start of an ep guide for DXV.

fyi, the second set for DXV is due in stores in late May.

Well, I finally took a moment to go back and mod tag entries. Had been slacking, but now it should be a little easier to find what you're looking for.

Otherwise, looking forward to getting my DXV dvds and finally getting the sub-titled story!
*Pokes the community* :D

1) How long have you been a Voltron fan? Hmm, for about 17 - 19 years now. I remember watching Voltron episodes when I was really young.

2) Do you have a Voltron website (provide url)? If not, do you have a favorite site/comm you visit (provide url)? I used to have a VV/DXV collection website but it's pretty much dead ATM. I might make a new website in the future if I have the time.

3) Which character(s) and/or pairings are your favorite? Which is your least favorite and why? My favorite characters are Cric, Wolo, and the Drules. Heh, I just absolutely love all of the Drule characters. My top favorite Drules are Throk, Sandu, Zabar, Twila, and Gorvan. As for the least favorite character, Jeff is on the top of that list. IMO he was very annoying and a very poor leader at times. >__> As for pairings, the only pairing I support ATM is Twila/Bardo.

4) Favorite episode or moment? "A Temporary Truce"

5) Least favorite episode or moment? "Red Moon Rises Again" /facepalm -__-*

6) Do you participate in other Voltron communities? If so, what are your screen names there? I'm on the Voltron.com forums (also as littlenumel) but I've been having problems trying to get back on that site. *Kicks her computer*

7) Do you also dabble in fan fiction or fan art? Not much. I've been working on and off on a fic. It'll be a long time till it gets done because I'm very busy ATM. I've also done a couple pieces of fan art.

8) Have you/are you going to buy the Media Blasters DVD set? If so, what do you think of them? I got all three Vehicle Voltron DVD sets. It's so nice to watch the VV episodes again. XD Not sure if I'll get the Lion Voltron DVD sets though.

9) Are you a fan of any other toons, or otherwise involved in other online fandoms? I'm a fan of IGPX, Robotech, Cyborg 009, and Disney films. Just a fan of good animation (American, Japanese, etc). ^^ Not too much involved in other fandoms now. I'm busy with college classes. <__<

10) Tell us anything else you think we should know about you - it can be anything from totally random to rather significant.  I have the DXV DVD and have been enjoying every bit of that series. For a fun little project, I'm trying to make a list of all of the Galbeston names. Here's what I have so far...
Hazar (VV) - Teles (DXV)
Mongo (VV) - Drake (DXV)
Rogar (VV) - Laurent (DXV)
Zabar (VV) - Gramont (DXV)
Nerok (VV) - Lafitte (DXV)
Sandu (VV) - Sim (DXV)
Gorvan (VV) - Marius (DXV)
I also enjoy collecting different VV/DXV items. My collection is a bit small at the moment but it's slowly growing. I keep finding all kinds of neat stuff on eBay and Yahoo Japan. On the voltron.com forums I posted some images of the DXV coloring book. Here's the link...
Maybe in a future post I'll share some pictures of the other DXV books I have.

I hope to have a great time here. Thank you! ^__^
At long last, the fic archive is restored. efic issued another update, so it's running the latest version. A cursory glance and everything looks ok. I have not tried to alter or update a story yet. Please let me know if that proves buggy for you. A proper site update is coming soon :)
1) How long have you been a Voltron fan? Since I saw it's re-air on Cartoon Network in... was it '96? My sisters loved it when they were younger. I was hooked immediately.

2) Do you have a Voltron website (provide url)? If not, do you have a favorite site/comm you visit (provide url)? A Princess and Her Knight is one that isn't dead... it's mostly K/A. ;)

3) Which character(s) and/or pairings are your favorite? Which is your least favorite and why? Characters: I'm another who had the biggest crush on Keith... now that I'm older, I still like him, but I would totally have the babies of ADORE Lance. (Keith, I must say, looks WAY better in the DD comics. Thank God they helped him get rid of that mullet!) Pairings: I've always been a big K/A fan, but recently, I've fallen in love with Sven/Romelle. Least favorite would be L/A, but that's probably because I always imagined Lotor as this sick, sadistic, gruesome alien who had no good side. You could say I knew about GoLion before I even knew about GoLion. :D

4) Favorite episode or moment? Summit Meeting. (When I was younger, I vividly remember one night where I did nothing but watch this episode over and over and over and over - and over and over! - until I had it memorized. When I got the Red Lion DVD case, it was the first episode I watched. I still remembered some of the lines.)

5) Least favorite episode or moment? Reaching the end. That's always the worst. :)

6) Do you participate in other Voltron communities? If so, what are your screen names there? This is my first!

7) Do you also dabble in fan fiction or fan art? I wrote fanfiction about thirteen years ago. I'm currently planning a Sven/Romelle fic, but I wanted to be sure I could reach a place that was active so people would read it. (Besides fanfic.net, of course. I need SOME response!) :D

8) Have you/are you going to buy the Media Blasters DVD set? If so, what do you think of them? What do I think? I need the rest, that's what I think!

9) Are you a fan of any other toons, or otherwise involved in other online fandoms? I also love Robotech, if we're going to talk about 80's toons. I'm involved in a bunch of different anime fandoms.

10) Tell us anything else you think we should know about you - it can be anything from totally random to rather significant. I'm very excited to be a part of this community! I've never had other friends who loved/watched Voltron growing up, so to finally have some now would be great! I look forward to fangirling with the rest of you!
I found this webpage through another fandom: http://community.livejournal.com/help_haiti/
